Everywhere we looked the hills were carpeted in greenery
Not too long ago a fire ravaged the entire area, the trees are all scorched
but with the rain and a short time, the vegatation is returning with a vengance.
We even saw a hawk hanging out on the sunny day.
With all the grasses and flowers, the hill side looked as soft as velvet.
Everywhere you looked, there were wild flowres.
I thought this sign was funny. My first thought was a campfire with
WiFi. Katie patiently explained it meant an ampitheater.
And looking back towards the end of the trail,
we see the snowy peaks in the distance.
