Cayes Caulker

Cayes Caulker is an island off the coast of Belize and one of the most easy going places I have ever been in my life

As we were getting of the boat that took us to the island, we found these cabanas

As it turns out, Barb the manager was only charging $15 a night for up to four people. So Terry, our new found friend Lexie and I decided "Why Not?"

The whole island was about 12 blocks by four blocks and there were no cars on the island

Just about all of the locals had boats. I guess you sort of have to when the island is that small

Despite our location, just like everywhere else we went in Central America, the Internet was available

Just a neat piece of driftwood mounted on the side of a restaurant

Lexie and Terry kicking back in the hammock

Just wandering around the docks on one side of the island

I'm not sure what this dock was for, but the square at the end had a fence down into the water

The water was really clear and the sea grass was sort of pretty as it swayed back and forth
